Andrea Teixeira leads the J.P. Morgan trio to a third-place debut in Health Care, which is back after a two-year hiatus. “She has terrific clarity about this burgeoning sector,” affirms a booster. Teixeira, who is based in New York and also captains the No. 3 team in Retailing, and her two teammates presciently initiated on Amil Participaçóes with an overweight rating all the way back in November 2008, at 8.99 reais, on cost reductions and improved operational efficiencies at the Rio de Janeiro–based health insurer. By late July 2011 the shares had rocketed 96.9 percent, to R17.70, and bested the sector by 101.6 percentage points.
