Santander returns to the ranking for the first time since 2005. The four-strong squad, led by São Paulo–based newcomer Márcio Prado, upgraded Eletropaulo Metropolitana – Eletricidade de São Paulo from hold to buy in October, at 29.28 reais, on its low valuation and high dividend yield, among other considerations. Shares of the São Paulo electricity distributor sizzled up 23.9 percent, to R36.27, through July. “Márcio has best-in-class ideas, strong contacts and superior conferences and field trips,” declares one backer.
