ReconTrust has won an U.S. District Judge approval to carry out foreclosures in Nevada, Bloomberg reports. As per the ruling, the Bank of America unit can conduct foreclosures without court supervision.

ReconTrust was issued a preliminary order on January 20 that halted work on over 8,900 foreclosures in the state. Suzanne North, who won the order to freeze foreclosures, had filed a lawsuit claiming that ReconTrust was not the trustee in her mortgage when it initiated foreclosure proceedings, adds Las Vegas Sun.
