HSBC Holdings is seeking to cut 672 jobs in France in the next three years, The Wall Street Journal reports. The bank is planning to shed the jobs through staff turnover and without any layoffs.

The bank currently has 10,150 employees through its retail, commercial and investment-banking operations in the country. The French unit will concentrate on wealth management for personal customers, further develop investment banking and help clients tap international markets.
