Returning to second place after a year in third is the Credit Suisse quartet led by Arndt Ellinghorst, who impresses investors with his “broad industry knowledge” and “good nose for things that will be important in the future.” Last March the analysts added BMW to the Credit Suisse Focus List, arguing that the German automaker’s valuation did not reflect its strong balance sheet. By the end of the December, the stock had rocketed 73.5 percent, from €33.92 to €58.85.
