Wells Fargo has raised $2.501 billion in a sale of notes, Reuters reports. The senior holding company notes are first payable on March 15, 2011. 
The San Francisco-based lender appointed Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley as the joint bookrunning managers for the deal. The notes carry a coupon rate of 3.676%, and are due to mature on June 15, 2016.
