After two years in the runner-up position, the Sanford C. Bernstein duo piloted by Luca Solca rises to third place; Solca also leads the No. 1 team in Luxury Goods. The analysts recommended Spain’s Industria de Diseño Textil, in November, at €58.46, on the belief that the company’s new web-marketing strategy, which began with site launches in Europe in September and will continue through this year in Asia and North America, would lead to a surge in sales and a boost in profits by year-end 2011. Inditex shares had slipped 4.2 percent, to €56.03, by late December, but investors don’t appear to be worried: The Bernstein team “is much more long-term oriented than its peers,” declares one booster.
