Mississippi State University Foundation (MSU) has appointed Jack McCarty as its new executive director of development, effective May 15. In his new position, McCarty will be in charge of fundraising efforts for StatePride, an initiative for student and faculty support.

At present, he serves as a board of trustee member for the Starkville Public Library. Since 2007, he has led development efforts of the College of Business. He has also been in charge of all fundraising activities in the major academic unit, including its Richard Adkerson School of Accountancy.
