Currently serving as Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa at MFS Investment Management, Tohmé brings extensive leadership experience and a strong commitment to the advancement of the investment management profession across the region.

In his role as President, Tohmé aims to reinforce the society’s commitment to high standards of governance, enhance the employability of young CFA charterholders, and foster deeper connections with the broader financial community. His vision includes building strategic alliances with asset owners, asset managers, regulators, universities, and fellow CFA societies across MENA and beyond.

Prior to his current role, Tohmé served as Senior Regional Head for MENA and EMEA at CFA Institute, where he played a key role in advancing research initiatives and supporting local stakeholder engagement throughout the region. His earlier career includes senior positions at AXA Investment Managers, Lazard, and AllianceBernstein.
