The California State Teachers' Retirement System has appointed Margot Wirth as director of private equity, Pensions & Investments reports. She begins her new role today.

In her new role, Wirth will manage a private equity team of 20 people, who are already managing the CalSTRS’ Credit Enhancement Program. She was previously a portfolio manager at the system.
