Deutsche Bank recently brought on Laura Williamson, previously with J.P. Morgan, as chief operating officer of Private Wealth Management for the brokerage unit Alex Brown and the private bank. Williamson reports to Tom Bowers, head of PWM. The hire comes on the heels of John Dudzik being named head of Private Client Services two months ago (PAM, 4/10). The firm has been staffing its West Coast PWM office and hired several regional heads there (PAM, 5/22). A Deutsche Bank spokeswoman declined comment and Williamson and a J.P. Morgan spokesman did not return calls by press time.

Pls. Note: Frank Scheuer, managing director and head of the operating platform with Deutsche Bank, has not left the firm. This was incorrectly reported in PAM's printed version.
