Newport Group has named Rob Schaffernoth as vice president, retirement services. In the newly formed role, Schaffernoth will work with Newport staff across multiple locations to expand and deploy various new business process management initiatives.

Before joining Newport, he was principal in Sungard’s wealth management global services. Prior to that, he has also worked as director of operations at Invesco.
