Vanguard has appointed Gemma Wright-Casparius as principal and senior portfolio manager of its fixed-income group. She will work under Kenneth Volpert, principal and head of Vanguard’s taxable bond group.
She will replace Volpert as co-manager of the $36.8 billion Vanguard inflation-protected securities fund. Before joining the investment management firm, Wright-Casparius served as a fixed-income portfolio manager and deputy head of global macro research and strategy for a subsidiary of the Singapore sovereign wealth fund.
