Orbis Australia has rolled out a retail cash plus equities fund, Financial Standard reports. The Orbis/SM Australia Opportunity Fund is launched as an alternative to traditional cash or money market and income generating funds. The fund will focus on providing stable, long-term returns that exceed the Reserve Bank of Australia cash rate. In 2004, the firm launched the Orbis/SM Australian Equity Fund.
