Barclays is will list around 12 exchange-traded notes (ETNs) on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) this year, The Wall Street Journal reports, citing Nikkei. The stock exchange has recently authorized trading in ETNs, with the first likely to debut in April. Barclays expects demand from a various investors in Japan, including pension funds and individuals. The U.K. lender is looking to increase its ETN assets to around $1.21 billion in several years.
