Ohio Public Employees Retirement System’s (OPERS) CEO, Chris DeRose, has stepped down from his role, PLANSPONSOR reports. DeRose will join as vice president of client services for strategic accounts for health care consulting firm, Ingenix.

DeRose and the board of trustees will work on a transition plan and he will remain as CEO until his departure. Prior to joining OPERS in October 2006, he served as CEO at the Michigan Office of Retirement Systems.
