HSBC Global Asset Management is expanding its exchange-traded fund range, What Investment reports. The firm will unveil a South African index-tracking ETF, the HSBC MSCI South Africa ETF.
The fund, which will be launched later in the first quarter of 2011, will have a total expense ratio of 0.6%. BlackRock Global Investors-owned ETF provider, iShares, is the only other firm that has its London-listed MSCI South Africa ETF.
