Clients laud Greene, who also takes the No. 2 spot in Airlines, for his May downgrades from equal weight to underweight on truckload carriers Knight Transportation of Phoenix and North Liberty, Iowa–based Heartland Express as overpriced given the companies’ earnings pressure from rising costs. Sure enough, by the end of August, the stocks had dropped 14.6 percent, from $17.74 to $15.15, and 11.1 percent, from $17.09 to $15.20, respectively, while the sector fell 12 percent.
