The $227 billion California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) is looking for new managers, Pensions & Investments reports. The selected candidates will passively run $5.3 billion in 10 portfolios.
The portfolios include global equity, fixed income, TIPS, commodities and real estate investment trusts. Currently, the assets are internally managed in group trusts by CalPERS staff.
