Dow Jones Indexes and UBS Investment Bank are introducing eight commodity sub-indexes. The new sub-indexes, which measure an opportunity set excluding commodities such as agriculture, livestock or grains, will be added to the Dow Jones-UBS Commodity Index family.

The companies are also launching indexes that exclude industrial metals, precious metals, soft commodities, petroleum products and agriculture/livestock. The series comprises the Dow Jones-UBS Commodity Index, which consists of 19 commodities, the eight previously existing sub-indexes and 28 single commodity sub-indexes.
