Credit Suisse has raised $1 billion through a sale of notes, Reuters reports. The bonds, which carry a coupon rate of 2.6%, are due to mature on May 27, 2016.
The covered bonds were sold in the 144a private placement market. BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, HSBC and RBS served as the joint book-runners for the transaction.
