Atlanta-based real estate firm Jamestown Properties is seeking to raise $800 million in the initial marketing of its new open-ended investment fund, Commercial Real Estate Direct reports. Jamestown Premier Property Fund has a core and core-plus investment strategy.
The fund will aim at office, retail and mixed-use properties in the New York, San Francisco, Boston and Washington markets. The open-ended structure will enable investors to buy back their stakes upon request. The fund will shut after its first round of marketing to its founding members in November.
