The Bauchi state government has rolled out a $3.23 million endowment fund, NEXT reports. The fund will assist victims of the April 16, presidential election violence in the state.
The government earmarked $129,240 as takeoff donation for the fund. The appeal fund will assist people, who lost their property during the mayhem and the families of the deceased National Youth Service Corporation members, who served as polling agents and returning officers during the elections.
