Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) is launching eight bond exchange-traded funds, The Wall Street Journal reports. The target-date ETFs will range from 2013 to 2020.
The funds will provide income by replicating performance of the DEX Target Maturity Canadian Corporate Bond Index. Cash distributions will be made quarterly. Canada currently covers ETFs worth $41.69 billion.
