Morgan Stanley has appointed Wylie Collins as head of its client- solutions group, Bloomberg reports. He will replace David Moffitt, who has left the firm after leading some of the businesses.

In his new role, Collins will be responsible for managing the group in the Americas. Currently, he is serving as vice president in the capital markets unit of Morgan Stanley. He joined the bank in 2010 after more than 25 years at Merrill Lynch.
