Deutsche Bank, in its first appearance in the ranking since 2007, slides in to third place. The two-member team led by newcomer Kai Korschelt “really drills down into the fundamentals,” according to one fund manager. In October the analysts issued a valuation-based buy recommendation on integrated circuit designer STMicroelectronics of Geneva, at €6.03. The stock shot up 27.4 percent, to €7.68, through December.
