IShares said the retail usage of ETFs on wrap platforms has increased broadly because of a movement toward model portfolios, IFA Online reports. IShares ETFs witnessed a 71% increase in assets held on platforms over the past year. At the end of June, the company had £723.5 million in ETF assets across seven wrap platforms, a hike of 30% since the start of the year. The company’s most popular ETFs by assets in the first half of the year were the IShares Barclays Capital £ Index Linked Gilt and the IShares Markit iBoxx £ Corporate Bond.
