Carlyle Group is planning to raise between €1.5 billion and €2 billion for a fourth European real estate fund next year, Private Equity Hub reports, citing Reuters. The private equity firm is backing on lenders in the region selling their property assets. The firm’s Carlyle Europe Real Estate Partners III fund still has around €600 million left to be invested. The vehicle has already invested in a portfolio of six London offices linked to the White Tower CMBS.
