A sovereign wealth fund in Middle East has doubled its sandalwood investment in Australia to $105 million,
The Wall Street Journal reports. The fund has increased its investment in a large Sandalwood plantation in Australia’s northwestern region.
The investment was made by an unidentified fund, which will allow the planting of a further 322 hectares of Indian Sandalwood in an area near Kununnura. The wealth fund had made an initial investment in 2010 that financed the planting of 376 hectares.
