The Fairfield County Community Foundation has appointed Juanita James as president and CEO, Ct Post reports. She will join in October and replace Susan Ross, who is stepping down after 15 years.

Most recently, James was working as chief marketing and communications officer for Pitney Bowes. She has previously also worked with Bertelsmann and Time Warner. The foundation manages more than 500 funds, such as 178 donor advised funds created by families and individuals and 146 scholarship funds.
