Shooting straight in to second place in this sector, which was created by the division of the former Technology, Media & Telecommunications category, is newcomer Yu Zhang of UBS. Investors describe the Shanghai-based analyst as “thorough” and “very helpful.” Zhang initiated coverage of Comba Telecom Systems Holdings in June 2010, at HK$9.61, with a contrarian sell rating, telling clients that the Hong Kong–based service provider would experience a slowdown in growth as companies cut back on their capital expenditures. The stock slid 8.3 percent, to $8.81, and trailed the sector by 60.8 percentage points, through April.
