The government of Japan has nominated Sayuri Shirai as a member for the decision making body of the Bank of Japan, Nikkei reports. In her new role, Shirai will be replacing current board member, Miyako Suda. The appointment of Shirai will be requiring the approval of both houses of parliament. The Chinese yuan, euro and other currencies expert is currently serving as a professor at Keio University.
