The Securities and Exchange Commission has appointed Eileen Rominger as its director of investment management. Rominger will join next month and be in charge of protecting investors and promoting capital formation through oversight and regulation of the investment management industry.
She will succeed Andrew Donohue, who stepped down from his role in November. Prior to this, Rominger worked at Goldman Sachs Asset Management as global CIO, and was a member of the management committee and risk committee of the firm’s investment management unit.
