Renaissance Capital has appointed six members to its cash equities team in London, New York and Johannesburg, Financial News reports. The new hires at the Russian bank includes two Citigroup equity traders, Payam Akhavan-Malayeri, who joins as global head of cash equities trading and Stuart McSporran, who has become head of resources trading. Both will be based in London. RenCap has also appointed Scott Duxbury as head of ADR Trading, in charge of trading emerging market equity products and ADRs across Canada and the Americas. In Johannesburg, Cameron Macklin has been added to the team as an equity arbitrage trader, John Seheri as an equity trader and Grant Nader as a derivatives trader.
