EQT Partners is planning to start marketing its sixth buyout fund, The Wall Street Journal reports. The European firm has circulated a draft private placement memorandum among some of its investors. The EQT VI Fund is targeting to raise about €4.25 billion. The fund will seek to invest in mid-to-large companies in the Nordic region and German-speaking Europe. UBS has been appointed as the placement agent for the new vehicle.
