Tata Mutual Fund is seeking to roll out a new fixed tenure fund, India Infoline reports. The firm has also filed with the Securities and Exchange Board of India for the same.

The Tata Fixed Tenure Fund Series 4 & 5 will look to generate income / capital appreciation by investing predominantly in a range of debt and money market instruments that are maturing on or before the maturity of the scheme. The new close ended income fund will be benchmarked against the Crisil MIP Blended Index and be managed by Murthy Nagarajan and Bhupinder Sethi.
