Described by one investor as “friendly, responsible, sharp and fast to respond,” the HSBC Bank trio led by Antoine Belge, who is based in Paris, and London-based Erwan Rambourg lands in third place for a second consecutive year. In August the team broke with the consensus and tagged Bulgari a buy, at €5.77, making the case that the beleaguered Italian jeweler — which in 2009 posted a €47.1 million ($67.5 million) loss and slashed its dividend — was poised for a comeback, thanks to cost-cutting initiatives and a new marketing strategy that emphasized growth in China. By the end of the year, the stock had leapt 40.2 percent, to €8.09.
