Citigroup is seeking to add 500 new bankers and traders to its institutional client unit, Financial Times reports. The firm will continue the appointments over the next two years. The new employees will be hired to strengthen the securities business. At the end of last year, Citi had about 260,000 full-time employees compared to 265,300 a year before, adds The Wall Street Journal.
