At the pinnacle of the lineup for a sixth straight year, ­Roderick Bourgeois, 42, is cheered by one buy-side fan for “extreme accuracy in stock calls.” Adds another: “It’s tough to find a question about his stocks that he hasn’t already considered.” The Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. analyst told investors to buy Accenture in January, at $48.38, citing strong growth at the Dublin-­based consulting company. In July, with the stock up 31.1 percent, to $63.43, and ahead of the sector by 13 percentage points, Bourgeois lowered it to market perform, on valuation. The stock slid 15.5 percent, to $53.59, through August.
