JPMorgan Chase will start offering banking services to South Africa’s largest companies as it seeks to expand outside the U.S. and Europe, Bloomberg reports. It will offer lending as well as treasury and foreign exchange services, said Eric von Glehn, managing director of JPMorgan, South Africa.

The bank already offers advice on mergers and acquisitions and on debt and stock offerings in the country. Its ranking as stock market offerings advisers in the country dropped to ninth last year.
