The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation has raised £3.5 million in a fundraising, TOP News reports. The foundation intends to use the funds for research, early detection and clinical trials of new drugs that may assist in fighting cancer.

The money will be used by the Tyne NHS Foundation Trust. About £500,000 will be used to help with diagnosis and to work on a specialist research centre to find new treatments.
