Permira is unveiling a new buy-out fund worth €6.5 billion, Financial Times reports. Permira is planning to begin fundraising by the end of the summer for the new fund.

The new portfolio will be smaller than the previous fund of the global private equity firm. The fund was raised in 2006 and initially had a size of €11.1 billion but was later slashed to €9.6 billion.
