Russell Investments has appointed Chris Barlow as a defined contribution specialist for the firm’s U.S. adviser-sold business. In his newly-formed role, Barlow will deliver defined contribution investment-only (DCIO) solutions to retirement plan intermediaries and strategic distribution partners in the southeast region of the U.S.

Barlow will work under Ben Jones, director of DC, intermediary distribution, and is based in Milwaukee. Before joining Russell, Barlow served as institutional client relationship manager for Wells Fargo Advantage Funds, where he also was vice president of institutional sales.
