Citigroup has enhanced its European telecoms, media and technology (TMT) team with the appointment of Frank Herzog as its managing director, Financial News reports. In his new role, Herzog will be responsible for focusing on the cable sector for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Herzog will report to head of banking for TMT in EMEA, Dan Bailey. Herzog is joining Citigroup from Rothschild, where he was senior telecoms, media and technology banker.
