| Athmane Benzerroug, Tomasz Krukowski & team | | Deutsche Bank | | First-place appearances: 1 Total appearances: 4 Team debut: 2011 | Reclaiming the No. 2 position after a year at runner-up is the Deutsche Bank squad under the direction of Athmane Benzerroug, who works out of Dubai, and Warsaw-based Tomasz Krukowski. The strategists monitor seven regional construction and engineering stocks and are bullish on industrial and commercial infrastructure builder OCI, which trades on the Netherlands stock exchange but maintains core operations in the Middle East & North Africa, primarily in Algeria and Egypt. Forthcoming catalysts will be supportive to OCI’s valuation and drive stock performance, says Benzerroug. Specifically, “volume ramp-up at the company’s Sorfert Algerie [complex] and fertilizer plants in Egypt should drive growth in 2014 and 2015, while commissioning of the company’s new fertilizer production plant in Wever, Iowa, in 2016 should continue to provide impetus to growth, boosting return on equity and free cash flow.” Their target price of €39.50 implies a 40.6 percent upside to the shares’ trading value at the end of May. This year, Benzerroug also leads the top team in Real Estate, and Krukowski also co-heads, with Dmitry Bulgakov, the first-place crew in Utilities. |
