Analyst Debut: 2005After two years at runner-up, Timothy Conder of Wells Fargo Securities reclaims the No. 3 position he earned in 2011 and 2010. Tracking 16 U.S. leisure names from his base in St. Louis, the researcher is known for providing “timely responses and in-depth analyses of new products that are second to none,” in the words of one buy-side counterpart. In July, Conder highlighted his long-standing overweight rating on Brunswick Corp., on the momentum of its new products. He has been bullish on the Lake Forest, Illinois–based boat maker since relaunching coverage in October 2011, at $17.76. As of the middle of last month, Brunswick had risen to $44.32, gaining 5.2 percent since his reiteration and besting the sector by 8.2 percentage points over that period. Conder believes that a price of $49 to $52 is reasonable. “Tim has a good understanding of cyclical swings,” adds another backer.
