| Robin Farley | | UBS | | First-place appearances: 9 Total appearances: 13 Team debut: 2001 | Robin Farley of UBS captures second place for a third year running. Monitoring “15 to 20 companies,” she says, Farley added Canada’s BRP to her sector portfolio with a buy rating in June, at C$24.50. She judged the manufacturer of the Ski-Doo snowmobile and Sea-Doo watercraft well positioned in the expanding power sports market to generate high revenue growth through next year. By the end of August, its shares had advanced 20.3 percent, to C$29.48, which she deems still too low. Another Farley favorite is Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, which the analyst upgraded from neutral to buy in mid-August, at $31.97, citing in part the Miami-based cruise line’s fleet of new ships. Her 12-month target price is $37. “Robin is indefatigable at keeping us informed with frequent updates,” one backer cheers. “She never puts her work on cruise control.” Farley also garners a runner-up position in Gaming & Lodging. — Ben Mattlin |
