Itaú BBA’s Marcos Severine leads his São Paulo–based foursome to a second consecutive third-place finish. In August 2012 the analysts downgraded Cía. Energética de São Paulo from outperform all the way to underperform, at 34.46 reais, in anticipation of a sell-off in response to rising tariffs. They were right. The shares slid 43.3 percent, to 19.54 reais, and trailed the sector by 18.9 percentage points, through mid-July.
